So my first entry is somewhat personal. I did a photo shoot of my nephew, Joel. He is 7 months old and absolutely adorable. One of my favorite times to photograph children is when they can sit up but can’t crawl yet. You can make them laugh and smile all you want but they can’t crawl towards you so you get some great stuff. Of course, any age is great for photos but this is a great time if you want a portrait or something very specific. So here is one of my favorites.

I have decided to start a blog so we can keep everyone updated on what is going on with Hamilton Photography and Hamilton Studios. Hamilton Photography is our wedding business and Hamilton Studios is our children portrait business. Both are doing well and keeping us very busy. I hope to do an update 2 times a month sharing some of our favorite work with weddings and children. We will be doing some great weddings this fall season so i can’t wait to share them with everyone.
