The first Saturday of every June, Navy-Marine Corp Memorial Stadium hosts the annual Great Strides event. As the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fund-raising event, Great Strides brings in donations to the organization and more awareness to the community. It was great to participate in the big day and thanks so much to Bob Saunders at Recognition Concepts for helping out the CF cause and inviting me to take part something much bigger than myself!

We had a great time with Melanie and Kevin on June 20th. Hamilton Photography photographed Melanie’s sister’s wedding a few years back so it was great to see the family again. But wow, what a rainy day. Melanie was a trooper and said her only hope was that the rain would let up so we could photograph them on the Raven’s field. As we drove to the M&T Bank Stadium, it was storming. However, just as we pulled up the sky opened and the sun shined down! I couldn’t believe our luck and neither could Melanie or Kevin. We got some great pictures with the fish eye lens! It was a pleasure working with the Mezzadra and Deremeik families.
