When Kristen and Eric asked us to photograph their wedding, we were excited. We have worked with a lot of their friends in the past and knew it was going to be a great day. As we expected, it was a fabulous wedding with gorgeous details! Kristen started her day off at the The Willard Hotel. The suite was a great place to capture all the preparations before the ceremony. The lobby at The Willard had some amazing photo opportunities and we took advantage of them as well. The ceremony was held at St Matthew’s Cathedral. It was the perfect romantic setting for Kristen and Eric who are so much in love! The reception took place at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium. WOW! Kristen and Eric went all out. This was an amazing space with beautiful natural light pouring in the grand windows. Kristen and Eric took this amazing space and made it even more amazing by selecting some fabulous vendors to pull it all together. The flowers were designed by Karen Kallmyer and they were out of this world gorgeous! The band, Party on the Moon, kept the dance floor jamming all night long! (An interesting side note, this band performed at President Obama’s Inauguration, Eli Manning’s wedding and Donald Trump’s New Years Eve party!). Finally, we can’t forget Laura Weatherly at Engaging Affairs. She coordinated the big day in DC! We would not have wanted to spend this day with any other couple than Kristen and Eric. A huge congratulations to the high school sweet hearts! Enjoy the photos!

From the minute I met Karla and Dave and found out they were beer aficionados like myself, I knew we were going to bond and get some great photos. And when I found out they were getting married at one of my favorite Eastern Shore locations, the Tilghman Island Inn, I knew the wedding was going to be picturesque and whole lot of fun! Yes, Tilghman Island Inn is waterfront with amazing views, but of all the great qualities of this facility, nothing compares to the fresh seafood and extensive wine list. A truly unique spot for two families to come together and enjoy a wedding. The ceremony took place on the water’s edge and the weather was perfect. Love was in the air and micro brews were at the bar!

What a stylish wedding. Jeff and Inga outdid themselves in every part of the wedding day! Jeff and the boys wore suspenders and fedoras and really gave some character to the groom’s attire. Inga, Inga, Inga was just stunning. With small blonde curls underneath her white birdcage veil, Inga was truly a gorgeous bride. Inga wanted an edgy, cool bouquet and Perkins did not disappoint; the flowers were so cool and different. The reception at Chase Court was so much fun and we got to enjoy it as guests as our associate photographer, Emily Chastain, took over. From the great Lithuanian beer to the band jamming with Jeff’s parents on guitar and keyboard, the wedding was a blast. Thanks Inga and Jeff for choosing us to photograph the day and inviting us to enjoy the celebration. Enjoy the photos!

We had the privilege of photographing Amy and Wayne’s wedding at the Silver Swan Bayside, and it was a gorgeous day on the bay. Amazing blues everywhere - from the water to the sky to the details inside the reception. The couple was really cool and had fun with the photography. With so many great spots to shoot at the Silver Swan, we got tons of bayside images. This is one of my favorite places to shoot, and the staff and food at the Silver Swan are both top notch! The two families of the couple enjoyed each other and the elegant evening that unfolded. Absolute Entertainment set the mood for the event and of course got the dance floor pumping into the night.

I am so glad Kristine and Ryan chose Hamilton Photography to photograph their big day. They were such a kind couple. Kristine looked beautiful and even though the wind tried to break her smile, it couldn’t. The wedding took place at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge. Kristine and Ryan’s ‘reveal’ was so romantic in the scenic rooftop lighthouse. It was the perfect place for the groom to see his bride for the first time! We got a chance to photograph the couple in the lighthouse and the architecture was a photographer’s playground! I loved that Kristine’s brother was the officiant during the ceremony. It added such a personal touch. The Hyatt Cambridge is one of my favorite ‘destination’ spots in Maryland. The views, grounds, beach and river make for amazing backdrops. Blue Sky Films did the videography for the day and I know that Shelly captured the laughs, toasts and excitement through her camera as well. Congratulations to Kristine and Ryan … we wish you the best!

Could you ask for a better day? A great couple paired with two of our favorite venues in Annapolis! Anne and Jamie had a beautiful ceremony at the Naval Academy Chapel. After the ceremony we headed to a few of the many gorgeous places for photos on the yard (Bancroft Hall, the foot bridge & the sea wall). Honestly, there are so many amazing locations for photography on the yard. We are glad that Anne and Jamie wanted to spend some time there. It was worth it because we got some amazing photos! The reception was held at one of our favorite Annapolis Hotels, the Loews. Holly and her team did an amazing job with planning and running the event (as always!). Cynthia from Flower Follies had beautiful accent pieces for the tables that created such elegance in the room. We are glad Anne and Jamie chose us as their photographers, it was a great event with a great family! We wish you the best as you start your new adventures as Mr. & Mrs. Powers.

The big day was here, and all Sarah wanted for photography was some great outdoor photos in downtown Annapolis. The rain was coming and weather reports kept changing when it would hit Annapolis. So we called Sarah and decided to start the photography early to beat the rain. Well, the rain never came! It moved right around the city, but we had some extra time to have fun and get some great Annapolis photos. (I love it when a couple is into taking photos.)
The Carter and Digby families were great to work with, and Trina and Rick threw an over-the-top wedding for their little girl. They assembled some of the wedding industry’s finest, starting with the planning of it all, Michele from Michele Damon Events. Michele pulled in Perkins Productions for the flowers, lighting, and exquisite trees at the ceremony site. Amazing! From the elaborate program to the gem-studded place cards, Allison Barnhill Designs really outdid herself again. (Did you know she does everything by hand? Wow!) Kathy and the crew at the Westin pulled off a perfect party, and per the groom’s request there was even a mac-and-cheese station - now that’s catering to a client’s desire! Sweet Bakery displayed tables of fun desserts and the couple was surprised with a cake from Charm City Cakes (the couple water-skiing in the bay with the family dogs on the boat). Nightsong, the best wedding band ever (and I mean out of DC, Virginia AND Baltimore), blew the roof off the house. When these guys play, it is a party! Great families + great vendors = great event!

We went back to the spot. Back to the spot where it all started. We went to the exact spot where Bryan proposed to Julie, and we captured some truly romantic images of the couple.

Amazing is one of the many words we heard coming from brides who entered the Doric room at the Tremont Grand on April 25. All the credit goes to Drew Vanlandingham of the Vanlandingham Design Studio who turned the room into a breathtaking layout with amazing colors, fabrics, flowers and more. Allison Barnhill Designs created beautiful and unique menu and place cards for the tables and chairs (as always, simply amazing!). Jason Wallace, from Absolute Entertainment provided the ambiance with Latin & World lounge mixes. Wessel’s Florist designed gorgeous arrangements and Sascha’s catering provided tasty appetizers and yummy sangria. Of course, Hamilton Photography was there and we were showing off some of our latest album designs as well as new artwork. Overall, it was a great show and we were honored to work with such amazing talent.
